The 2022 Solidarity Saturdays Spring Series kicks off this month. Join us on February 12th at 10am CT.
February’s topic is ‘Freedom from Violence: exploring the intersection of violence and the changes needed to ensure all people live a life free of violence.’ We are thrilled to announce our guest speaker Dr. Hollie Mackey (Northern Cheyenne), Associate Professor of Education at NDSU. Dr. Mackey’s scholarship examines the effects of structural inequity in Indigenous and other marginalized populations in educational leadership and public policy. Registration is required.
Attendees will also hear from a panel of advocates and activists about their work in North Dakota to ensure all people live a life free of violence. RSVP today!
Solidarity Saturday is a virtual space for North Dakotans to build community underscored by their shared progressive values. The spring series takes place February thru June on the second Saturday of each month. Come to one or come to all! Register here.
