We Are Women Voters

We are women voters willing to speak out. Like 61% of men and 64% of women we believe in a woman’s right to control her own body. If you voted to restrict those rights and ban abortions, we will not vote for you.
Eighty-six percent (86%) of American adults support universal background checks for firearm sales and 53% of registered voters support banning assault-style weapons. If you oppose universal background checks and banning assault weapons, we will not vote for you.
Approximately 45 million Americans are enrolled in ACA (Obamacare) related coverage, a 258% increase over coverage levels in 2014. Social Security and Medicare provide base financial security for millions of Americans. If you are among those who voted over 50 times to repeal Obamacare, or propose drastic changes to limit Social Security and Medicare, we will not vote for you.
Roughly 75% of Americans support US participation in international efforts to reduce the effects of climate change. If you are among those denying climate change and refusing to address its reality, we will not vote for you.
Sixty-eight percent (68%) of Americans support same-sex marriage. If you oppose the right of people to love who they love and continue to ignore the serious implications of discriminatory legislation, we will not vote for you.
The problems at the southern border must be fixed by Congress, not the President. If you opposed the bi-partisan legislation to address immigration reforms, we will not vote for you.
If you support book bans or book burning and the rewriting of history to claim slavery was economically beneficial to those enslaved, we will not vote for you.
We believe a citizen’s individual right to vote is, perhaps, the most precious right under our Constitution. If you continue to spread false information about elections and deny U.S. citizens their right to vote, we will not vote for you.
We believe no one is above the law. If you attack the rule of law and make absurd claims and violent attacks against the American legal system, we will not vote for you.
When you vote in the next election, before you check the box next to a Republican candidate, ask yourself: Do I agree with the Republican Party’s stance on the important issues our country faces? We say, “No.”
