Prairie Action ND

Community Immigration Support Meeting

Please join us on Friday, April 4th, 2:00 – 4:30 pm at Fargo Cass Public Health as we continue to mobilize in response to our immigrant friends, neighbors, students, patients, clients, parishioners as federal laws and threats continue to evolve through executive orders and  US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions around the country.

We will hear from advocates and legal experts about current events and initiatives on the ground, and concrete actions we each can do to support the immigrants in our region. You will be provided with resources to advocate personally, and encouragement to acquaint yourselves with each other to think of bigger ways our voices can be heard.

Spread the word to your networks who have expressed concern and asked the question, “What can I do?”
I have read of individuals who were unsure how they could respond and help who have attended gatherings such as this, were inspired and strengthened by meeting like-hearted people and then set out to plan letter writing campaigns, public displays of support, phone banks, contacting legislators, and making some good trouble.  And letting our friends and neighbors know that we support and will protect them.
